The New Testament is a significant part of the whole Bible, describing Christian rules and explaining its valuable codes of behaviour. It’s believers respect the Old Testament as a fundamental true of their faith, but it is not as important as the New Testament. What is more, for Muslims, Koran is the most obvious complement of the Bible (The New and the Old Testament). All of this religions are similar to each other, because of the faith in one, exactly the same God.

As far as Christianity is concerned, its members believe in One God in Three Persons, such as: The Spirit, Father and Jesus Christ. The main idea of this religion is based on crucifying of Jesus for salvation of all humanity.

For Jews, essential points, which are included in the Bible, have one consisted name, the Decalogue. Christians also face Ten Commandments (called the Decalogue too), but the most vital are the two another explaining our love to God and to other people, preached by Jesus Christ.

The early beginnings of Polish country are strongly connected with Christianity. This religion has almost one thousand years more than Poland, but its presence in this country is known from scratch of its being.

Before Poland has been Christianised, it was not considered as a country from territorial and political point of view. Despite that, Poland was socially spread. There existed individual groups of people, who had their own pagan customs and who strongly believed in them. During Christianisation and political forming of Polish country by the first prince of Poland, Mieszko I, Christianity must have been enforced societally using, for example physical force. Everyone, who didn’t wanted to be Christianised became condemned to cutting of tongue, for instance.

In spite of fact, that the new rules were introduced so brutally, Mieszko I had no other opportunity to save Poland territorially from Germany, that wanted to grabbed our land for their own. Secondly, physical move was one right step to encourage uneducated societies to be civilised and free from the risk. Moreover, our mental ignorance was connected with medieval backwardness rather than with our individual territorial and political autonomy.

Nowadays, Christianity plays the first fiddle in Poland from each perspective. In fact, Poland is a secular country if the political structure is mentioned. However, about eighty percent of Polish people are Christians. Most them belong to group of the religion, called Catholicism. Polish religious history has strongly created Polish customs, mental approach, and even language. Despite the fact  that most young people living in Poland called themselves as non-practising Catholics.
